Seek a Higher Consciousness

The song “Our Thoughts Are Prayers” reminds us: We are always praying so we need to listen to what we are saying. When life brings us challenges, it can be difficult to stay the course and keep our thoughts centered on God. At such times spiritual refocusing practices help us turn our attention away from the problem and reconnect our attention toward God. As we send our energy to that which we desire more of in our lives, that is what we receive. As we feel grateful for the abundant blessings in our lives, we are doubly blessed. We are to seek a higher consciousness, and always remember God’s love for us. God is everywhere present, guiding us, supporting us, comforting us, and loving us into a greater awareness of our oneness with all that is.

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” ~1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Affirmation – I am transformed by the renewal of my mind.
