What pops into your mind when you think of the topic of “acceptance?” Perhaps right now, acceptance is about tolerating things you don’t want. Perhaps it’s the Serenity prayer, “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change…” This Sunday, guest speaker Rev. Pat Veenema shares an unexpected application of the idea of acceptance from Charles Fillmore.
“Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11: 28
Affirmation: I accept the Truth that I am the essence of the Divine.
