Coming Up This Sunday

Join us for each Sunday Celebration at 11 am for music, fellowship, and inspiration. We welcome all spiritual paths and are excited to be a part of your spiritual journey!

The Joys of Spirit

According to Charles Fillmore, cofounder of Unity, joy is “the happiness of God expressed through His perfect idea—[hu]man.” You are the radiant joy of God! As we complete our preparations for Christmas, we remember to take a breath, pause, and get in touch with the joy of God within. Filled with the Spirit of Christmas, we bring our joy to the world.

The joy of the Lord is your strength. ~ Nehemiah 8:10

Affirmation: The joy of the Lord is my strength. I am God’s joy!

An Expression of Love

When the world around us seems full of strain and discord, it is more important than ever to bring the peace of God into our daily lives. Charles Fillmore, cofounder of Unity, defines peace as, “Harmony and tranquility derived from awareness of the Christ consciousness.” Let us prepare our hearts and minds for a Christmastime of peace.

Above all, clothe yourselves with love which binds everything together in perfect harmony. ~ Colossians 3:14

Affirmation: I am divine love in expression.

God’s Peace is Mine

When the world around us seems full of strain and discord, it is more important than ever to bring the peace of God into our daily lives. Charles Fillmore, cofounder of Unity, defines peace as, “Harmony and tranquility derived from awareness of the Christ consciousness.” Let us prepare our hearts and minds for a Christmastime of peace.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 4:7

Affirmation: God’s peace is mine. All things contribute to the calm peace of my soul.

The Perceiving Power of Faith

The four weeks before Christmas mark the season of Advent, a time when we prepare for the birth of Christ. This first Sunday we focus on faith, a quality which, when raised to a spiritual faculty, allows us to perceive all possibilities. Charles Fillmore, cofounder of Unity, wrote, “The development of the faith faculty is the key to spiritual realization.” We prepare for Christmas by renewing our spiritual power of Faith.
But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. ~ James 1:6

Affirmation: Through faith I am centered and guided every step of the way.

Over the Jordan through Jerusalem to Bethlehem We Go

Rev. Chase invites you to journey with her to Bethlehem. Discover why Bethlehem is a favorite destination. Learn how to prepare for the trip and why it is a trip to be repeat year after year including a visit to King Herod.

But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times. ~ Micah 5:2

Affirmation: I renounce any tendencies, beliefs, attitudes and feelings which block my expression of the Christ. I move into a state of Faith, Peace, Love and Joy.

Quit Thinking; Start Thanking

Pam Grout, author of Thank & Grow Rich, writes, “It wasn’t until I embarked on a simple practice of gratitude that I finally got what I’d been looking for all these years.” If we lighten up and trust the mystery, we might just get on the frequency of joy and gratitude. Quit thinking and start thanking!

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances. ~ 1 Thess. 5:16-18

Affirmation: I am grateful for renewed health, strength, prosperity, and happiness.

Gifts from the Universe

You are being offered four free gifts, custom made just for you. There are four blessings guaranteed to you if you get on the frequency of gratitude as explained in the book, Thank & Grow Rich. And the only question is…, “Are you ready to receive?”

The universe (or God or the field of infinite potentiality or whatever name you want to call this energy force) wants nothing more than to bless you, to guide you, to help you create the most exciting version of yourself. ~ Pam Grout

Affirmation: The Universe is generous and I am ready to receive!

Your Real Riches

Regardless of your current financial condition, you were born with huge reserves of spiritual capital. “What’s that?” you may be wondering. In her book, Thank & Grow Rich, Pam Grout explains spiritual capital as one of the five types of capital that make up our real riches. And, here’s the kicker…. According to Pam, “Financial wealth is a side effect of your real riches.”

Thank & Grow Rich is about building a different kind of portfolio…. It’s purpose is to grow equity in the love, creativity, and beauty that’s already inside you. ~ Pam Grout

AffirmationI claim my Divine inheritance and I am prosperous!

Wealth Redefined

In her book, Thank & Grow Rich, Pam Grout invites us to reconsider the way we think of wealth or prosperity. Life quickly teaches us that the “incessant search for legal tender” can’t ever make us truly rich. Isn’t it time to change our antiquated financial system and work with a new definition of wealth?

Affirmation: I claim my Divine inheritance and I am prosperous!

Static? Change Your Frequency!

How accurately do our five senses perceive and report our experience of the phenomenal world? Science has shown that our perceptions have more to do with our state of mind than our sensory perception. Maybe it’s time to tune out the static and change our vibrational frequency!

How cool is it that by believing in oneness, by choosing to add energy to the resonant field of gratitude and joy, you can fundamentally change the world? ~ Pam Grout
Affirmation: I’m a vibrational being of light and love.

Thank and Grow Rich: An Irreverent Truth

This week we begin a six week lesson series based on New York Times bestselling author, Pam Grout’s, book, Thank & Grow Rich: A 30-Day Experiment in Shameless Gratitude and Unabashed Joy. It’s a book about climate change-changing the climate of your energy field!

Brazen gratitude provides a portal, an entry point straight into the heart of the very field of infinite possibilities… ~ Pam Grout

Affirmation: I am getting on the frequency of gratitude.

The End is Where We Start From

When it comes to the seasons it is easy to accept that summer has ended and we are beginning again with fall. But if you think about it, everything in this world has at least one thing in common: it all has a beginning and it will come to an end. Unless we honor and perhaps embrace an ending, it can be difficult for us to move forward into a new beginning. This week we’ll explore how celebrating and honoring the past supports us in moving on with our lives.

Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. ~ Seneca

Affirmation: I let go of yesterday and allow today to be a new beginning.

The Things That are Mine to Do

In Unity, we honor each person’s path of spiritual transformation. We value knowing our True Nature and understanding Spiritual Law. And, we also know the old expression reminding us to “put feet on our prayers.” Today we must ask ourselves, “Where can I put Truth into action? What is mine to do?”

I fairly sizzle with zeal and enthusiasm and spring forth with a mighty faith to do the things that ought to be done by me. ~ Charles Fillmore

Affirmation: I am divinely guided to right action.

Life’s Flying Trapeze Act

Have you ever seen and wondered how the trapeze artists have the courage to let go and fly through the air toward a swinging bar? They’ve learned that their goal slips through their grasp when they hold on too tightly or too long. The same is true in life. As long as our hands are full of yesterday, all else slips through our grasp. It’s time to release the old and take hold of the new!
I deny out of consciousness old error thoughts, as if I were gently sweeping away cobwebs, and I affirm positively and fearlessly that I am a child of God, and that my inheritance is from Him. ~ Charles Fillmore

Affirmation:

I see beyond false appearances to a higher, truer perception of reality.

The “I Am.” Sentence

Sunday September 16, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White

We often say or hear the words, “I am…” at the beginning of a sentence. When our “I am…” is followed by a negative condition or states of being, we are claiming something that we may not want! When you substitute the words, “I am,” with, “The very essence of me is…,” you can feel the power and potential in these two small words! What would you really like to put with your “I am?”

I am the way, and the truth, and the life. ~ John 14:6
Affirmation: I am peace. I am love. I am joy. I am blessed!

Well Done!

Sunday September 2, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White

On Labor Day each year, we honor those who have contributed to the strength and prosperity of our country. Charles Fillmore suggests that we can also find abundance “…in the kingdom of God where everything needful becomes manifest not through hard labor but through the realization of Truth.”
Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. ~ Matthew 25:21

Affirmation:  I am a mighty channel of abundance.

All in Divine Order-SERIOUSLY?

Sunday August 26, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White

Does it seem as though life has become more chaotic and the days, weeks, and months are simply flying by? Spiritual sages remind us that the world around us always reflects our inner world, so it is wise to reflect upon what we’re holding in mind. Let’s put our minds in Divine Order!

Whatever there is in mind, body, or affairs that is out of harmony is easily adjusted when you open the way in your mind for the manifestation of divine order. ~ Charles Fillmore

Affirmation: Divine Order is now manifest in my life and affairs.

Stop, Look and Listen

Sunday August 5, 2018 with Rev. Chase

We are three-fold beings: body, mind and spirit. Ignoring the body can lead to an out of balance state of being. The old adage “Stop, Look and Listen” applied to our physical being, serves us well as we traverse life on earth.

Listening to my body and naming what I feel takes practice, but it helps me figure out what I need. The more I practice listening to my body, the better I get at responding with care and kindness for myself. – Gabi Garcia

Affirmation: I willingly listen to my body and restore my whole self to balance.

The Four Agreements Part 5
Always Do Your Best

Sunday July 29, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White

Living the four agreements leads to personal freedom from guilt, blame, and self-judgment. We begin to change our deeply ingrained ways of being and acting. Rather than expecting a reward for our actions, we love what we do and our actions are their own reward! How do we make this crucial change? According to don Miguel Ruiz, “The fourth agreement is about the action of the other three: Always do your best.

God is life. God is life in action. The best way to say, ‘I love you, God,’ is to live your life doing your best. ~ don Miguel Ruiz

Affirmation: Living one day at a time, I always do my best.

The Four Agreements Part 4
Don’t Make Assumptions

Sunday July 22, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White

Don Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements, writes, “All the sadness and drama you have lived in your life was rooted in making assumptions and taking things personally.” When we make the assumption that those closest to us just somehow know what we need, there is often disappointment and misunderstanding. To bring love and harmony to our relationships, we’ll want to keep this agreement with ourselves: Don’t make assumptions.

The day you stop making assumptions you will communicate cleanly and clearly, free of emotional poison. ~ don Miguel Ruiz

Affirmation: I communicate clearly and my life is transformed.

The Four Agreements Part 3
Don’t Take Anything Personally

Sunday July 15, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White

Perhaps you’ve heard the expression, “What you think of me is none of my business.” When we can say that and mean it, we’re well on the way to understanding the second agreement taught by don Miguel Ruiz in his book, The Four Agreements. Want to be immune from the emotional pain someone else might direct toward you? Whatever happens around you, no matter what someone else thinks of you, let this be your agreement with yourself: Don’t take anything personally.

If you keep this agreement, you can travel around the world with your heart completely open and no one can hurt you. ~ don Miguel Ruiz

Affirmation: Naught can disturb me, for Christ is my peace and my poise.

The Four Agreements Part 2
Be Impeccable with Your Word

Sunday July 8, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White

Everyone knows that words have incredible power. Like a two edged sword, our words can be creative or destructive. In The Four Agreements, don Miguel Ruiz, explains the first and most important agreement that you can make with yourself. He writes, “You can attain the kingdom of heaven from this one agreement: Be impeccable with your word.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ~ John 1:1

Affirmation: I am impeccable with my word and I am free!

The Four Agreements Part 1
Toltec Wisdom and the Four Agreements

Sunday July 1, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White

Thousands of years ago, the Toltec people were a society of wise spiritual explorers. Don Miguel Ruiz, a descendant of the Toltec, reveals sacred knowledge of four agreements that can awaken us from our fearful dreams and literally transform our lives. Join us as we explore his classic book, The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom.

If you can begin to live your life with these agreements, the transformation in your life will be amazing. ~ don Miguel Ruiz

Affirmation: I am creating a new dream—a personal dream of heaven.

The Power of the Word

Sunday June 24, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White

The words we speak can uplift and inspire, or they can tear down and discourage. When our words are heart-centered and spoken aloud, they have laser-like power to activate and focus healing vibrations. The power of the word moves us to coherence and spiritual harmony.

Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. ~ Matt 12:32

Affirmation: My words have healing and harmonizing power.

What Does it Take to be Happy?

Sunday June 17, 2018 with Rev. George Whitton

What most of us fail to realize is that changing our behaviors, rather than our circumstances, can significantly increase our well-being. What we believe would make a huge difference in our lives actually, according to scientific research, makes only a small difference. We may have been overlooking the true sources of personal happiness and well-being. This week we’ll explore the simple things we can do to live a happier life?

I have a Father’s Day every day. ~ Dennis Banks

Affirmation:  I am the guardian of my happiness.

It All Begins with a Thought

Sunday June 3, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White

At times it may feel like life is happening and it’s out of our control. It’s helpful to remember the words of the master teacher found in Matthew 8:13. “Jesus said, ‘Go; let it be done for you according to your faith.'” Our faith depends on our beliefs, and our beliefs are based upon our thoughts. Let it be done for you. Your thoughts have creative power!

What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create. ~ Buddha

Affirmation: I have the power to change my life!

As With God, So With Us

Sunday May 27, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White

Our minds boggle when we try to understand the Mind of God, and yet, there is something within us that continues to reach for that understanding. It has been said that the presence of God cannot be explained or described, only experienced as God expresses through us.

As immense and immeasurable as the mind of God is, it is small enough to fit into the heart of each one of us.
~ Richard and Mary-Alice Jafolla

Affirmation: I am open to Divine Ideas as God expresses through me.

Have You Tried the Geographic Cure?

Sunday May 20, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White

When things aren’t going the way we’d like, we may think that we need to change something in our lives. That may mean finding a new job, a new partner, or even moving to a new city. Many have tried, and many have learned, happiness requires more than a geographic cure!

Neither is new wine put into old wineskins; otherwise, the skins burst, and the wine is spilled, and the skins are destroyed; but new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved. ~ Matt 9:17

Affirmation: I am willing to be transformed at depth.

Honoring Our Divine Feminine

Sunday May 13, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White

All around the world people set aside a day to honor mothers. It’s been said that a mother’s love is as close as one can get to God’s love—unconditional and everlasting— a gift of the Divine Feminine. Today we celebrate the Divine Feminine energy of a mother’s love within all.

You alone hold the key to release the activity of divine love in your world. ~ Rebecca Clark

Affirmation: I am an open channel of Divine Love.

Heaven on Earth. Where is it?

Sunday May 6, 2018 with Rev. George Whitton

Heaven should not be thought of as a place where you’ll ultimately arrive once you leave this earthly existence. Rather, wouldn’t it be wonderful to create a Heaven on Earth experience right here and right now. Do you feel as if you’re in a Heavenly world? If the answer is “no”, you’ve probably made your physical world the primary focus of your life, with little or no attention given to the Heavenly part of your earthly existence. Heaven is a state of mind, not a location. Spirit is everywhere and in everything. You can begin equalizing your material and spiritual life by making a conscious decision to look for the unfolding of Spirit in everything and everyone that you encounter. This Sunday we’ll be exploring ways to re-frame our experiences, perceptions and challenges to better create a more “Heaven on Earth” experience.

The greater danger is not that your hopes and dreams are too high and you fail to reach them; it’s that your hopes and dreams are too low and you do reach them. – Michelangelo

Affirmation: I look for the good and I create it!
