Greetings Friends,

“Please read the safety card found in the seat pocket in front of you.” If life came with a safety card, this would be the time to read (and memorize!) it. I pray that you are well and have your seat belt buckled tight. November 3rd is the day we put our energy into choosing the president and governmental officials who will represent “we the people.” The next few weeks are going to be interesting. I invite you to join me in sending massive waves of peace and love out into the world as our country rumbles down the runway for “take off” in 2021.

Though politics seems designed to divide us, we know the importance of remembering the greater Truth. Whatever your political persuasion, you are a spiritual being first and foremost. Anything that divides us is of the ego. It is temporary… a fleeting image that reflects our freedom to create our own “reality” with our thoughts and beliefs. And that brings us to this….

Some members of our congregation want to reopen the church building despite the novel coronavirus. Others believe it’s wise to move through these challenging times by practicing caution. What is the “reality” of our current situation? The Board of Trustees believes that your safety and wellbeing are of utmost importance, so our building will remain closed at least until after the Board meeting in January. That means we aren’t going to be able to celebrate the holidays in our usual ways this year. We’re being called to be creative and find new ways to be in spiritual community…at least for now.

I’m buckled in and the safety card found in the seat pocket in front of me has the Prayer for Protection on it. I’ll hold onto that for now, but I can hardly wait to see all of you on a Sunday morning again. I love you and miss you so much! Just know that, with your continued love and support, we will all be together again. Let’s begin the healing process by sending massive waves of peace and love to each other, to ourselves, and out into the world.

Because the “reality” is, we’re in human bodies and, according to individual consciousness, we are subject to human conditions. The Greater Reality is what we all have in common. We are here to give and receive love. We are here to share and be in beauty. We are here to open to the greater Truth of our eternal Nature and Oneness. And lest we forget, no matter what it looks like in any given moment, we are here to enjoy the journey!

Much love to you my friends,

Rev. Cindy

Prayer for Protection
The Light of God surrounds us,
The Love of God enfolds us.
The Power of God protects us,
Wherever we are God is!
